Coaches Position Description

Opportunity Summary:

Coach and encourage students in grades 3-6 to train for the upcoming Cross-Country meets in October and November. This position works closely with the site coordinator at the schools.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervising and conducting Cross-Country practices and competitions safely.

• Teaching sportsmanship, teamwork, cooperation, dedication, commitment, and the other character messages from our program.

• Conditioning athletes appropriately for Cross-Country competition.

• Monitoring athletes attendance and personal conduct.

• Responding to player injuries with approved first aid equipment.

• Role modeling appropriate behavior.
